Noirsuaire is a French black metal band, formed in 2022 by a musician known as N., who is responsible for vocals, guitar and bass. He is accompanied by drummer Agravh. The band hails from the mountainous Montségur, located in the Pyrenees, and its work is characterized by raw, atmospheric black metal, drawing inspiration from the work of such legends as Gorgoroth, Darkthrone and Sargeist. The first demo entitled ‘Possessed by a Malignant Lust’ saw the light of day in November 2023. The following year, the band published four mini-albums and one single. In the second half of March, a new EP was presented – ‘The Wrath of the Silent Temples’, the review of which can be found below.
French duo Noirsuaire, revolving in the aesthetics of primitive black metal, presents a new mini-album ‘The Wrath of the Silent Temples’, which saw the light of day on March 21, 2025 by Khaoszophy Productions. The release develops the band’s previous artistic directions, exploring gloomy, atmospheric soundscapes and juxtaposing the wildness of sound with deep-rooted melancholy. The album includes seven compositions, which total duration is almost twenty-six minutes. The musical material presented here combines primitive, obscure and aggressive guitar riffs with an atmospheric emotional charge. You can feel that the band draws heavily from the early nineties, which makes its work more authentic and uncompromising, and yet I was very surprised by this atmospheric setting and keyboard parts composed on the organ. It added a unique darkness to this already rotten work. Fast tempos attack with surgical precision, and specific slowdowns can hit just as hard. The tracks prepared by Noirsuaire are hypnotizing and addictive, and the short material forces subsequent listenings. This material will certainly appeal to fans of raw black metal with gothic and atmospheric elements.

Noirsuaire to francuska formacja blackmetalowa, powstała w 2022 roku z inicjatywy muzyka ukrywającego się pod pseudonimem N., odpowiedzialnego za wokale, gitarę i bas. Towarzyszy mu perkusista Agravh. Zespół wywodzi się z górskiego Montségur, położonego w Pirenejach, a jego twórczość charakteryzuje się surowym, nastrojowym black metalem, czerpiącym inspiracje z dorobku takich legend jak Gorgoroth, Darkthrone czy Sargeist. Pierwsze demo zatytułowane ‘Possessed by a Malignant Lust’ ujrzało światło dzienne w listopadzie 2023 roku. W kolejnym roku zespół opublikował cztery minialbumy oraz jeden singiel. W drugiej połowie marca zaprezentowano nową EP-kę – ‘The Wrath of the Silent Temples’, której recenzja znajduje się poniżej.
Francuski duet Noirsuaire, obracający się w estetyce prymitywnego black metalu, prezentuje nowy minialbum ‘The Wrath of the Silent Temples’, który ujrzał światło dzienne 21 marca 2025 roku nakładem Khaoszophy Productions. Wydawnictwo rozwija dotychczasowe kierunki artystyczne zespołu, eksplorując posępne, nastrojowe pejzaże dźwiękowe i zestawiając dzikość brzmienia z głęboko zakorzenioną melancholią. Na krążku znalazło się siedem kompozycji, których łączny czas trwania wynosi blisko dwadzieścia sześć minut. Materia muzyczna, jaka została tu zaprezentowana, łączy prymitywne, obskurne i agresywne gitarowe riffy z atmosferycznym ładunkiem emocjonalnym. Czuć, że zespół czerpie garściami z wczesnych lat dziewięćdziesiątych, przez co jego twórczość jest bardziej autentyczna i bezkompromisowa, a jednak bardzo zaskoczyła mnie ta atmosferyczna otoczka i partie klawiszowe skomponowane na organach. Dodało to niepowtarzalnego mroku do tego i tak przegniłego na wskroś dzieła. Szybkie tempa atakują z chirurgiczną precyzją, a specyficzne zwolnienia potrafią uderzyć równie mocno. Utwory przygotowane przez Noirsuaire hipnotyzują i uzależniają, a krótki materiał wymusza kolejne odsłuchy. Ten materiał z pewnością trafi w gusta fanów surowego black metalu z elementami gotyckimi i atmosferycznymi.
