Ahead of us is another enigmatic black metal project, about which all we know is that it comes from Sweden, has three albums to its credit, and the beginning of its activity indicates 2016 – due to the release of its debut album. Nocturnal Triumph, because that’s what we’re talking about, released its third album – like the previous materials – under the wings of the German label Amor Fati Productions.

The very first sounds made the pitch blackness pour into my soul. The aggressive attitude from beginning to end with fast tempos has firmly stuck in my tastes. This album consists of five tracks, the total duration of which is over forty-one minutes. The raw wall of sound can overwhelm with its monumental weight, and yet in this dark tangle of sick, fast and sharp riffs, an atmosphere is born, which is equally frosty, but provides wonderful, lofty melodies, which are based on tremolo sections. This perfectly reflects the spirit of black metal from the early nineties, and the sound is remembered for a long time. The drums work great in fast parts, which strengthens the dynamics and aggressive attitude. It must be admitted that the recordings of this instrument came out very well, because despite the raw surroundings, everything is perfectly audible. The vocals are rough screeching screams, which take no prisoners from beginning to end. There is no room for compromises and positive emotions here, here reigns eternal darkness and coldness. If you have not had the opportunity to listen to this album yet, you absolutely have to get to know it.

Przed nami kolejny enigmatyczny black metalowy projekt, o którym wiadomo tyle, że pochodzi ze Szwecji, ma na koncie trzy albumy, a początek jego aktywności wskazuje na 2016 rok – z racji wydania debiutanckiego albumu. Nocturnal Triumph, bo o nim właśnie mowa, swój trzeci album wydał – podobnie jak poprzednie materiały – pod skrzydłami niemieckiej wytwórni Amor Fati Productions.

Już pierwsze dźwięki sprawiły, że smolista czerń wlała się w moją duszę. Agresywna postawa od początku do końca z szybkimi tempami mocno wbiła się w moje gusta. Krążek ten składa się z pięciu utworów, których łączny czas trwania wynosi ponad czterdzieści jeden minut. Surowa ściana dźwięku potrafi przytłoczyć swoim monumentalnym ciężarem, a jednak w tej mrocznej plątaninie chorych, szybkich i ostrych riffów rodzi się atmosfera, która jest równie mroźna, ale dostarcza wspaniałych, wyniosłych melodii, które są oparte o sekcje tremolo. Doskonale odzwierciedla to ducha black metalu z początku lat dziewięćdziesiątych, a brzmienie zapada w pamięć na długo. Perkusja świetnie się sprawdza w szybkich partiach, co wzmacnia dynamikę i agresywną postawę. Trzeba przyznać, że bardzo dobrze wyszły nagrania tego instrumentu, bo pomimo surowej otoczki, wszystko jest doskonale słyszalne. Wokale to szorstkie skrzeczące krzyki, które od początku do końca nie biorą jeńców. Tu nie ma miejsca na kompromisy i pozytywne emocje, tu panuje wieczny mrok i chłód. Jeżeli nie mieliście jeszcze okazji przesłuchać tego albumu, to koniecznie musicie go poznać.
