Nie często zdarza się by materiał mający raptem 7 minut tak rozwalał i poniewierał! Mowa tutaj o nowym nabytku duńskiej Extremely Rotten Productions, a mianowicie duecie SLOVGH. Absolutna mikstura Goregrindu z Death Metalem. Jest to po prostu ohydne. Zapraszam.
Sześć utworów, nieco ponad siedem minut muzyki. Jak sama nazwa dema wskazuje, poprzez transfer płynu wywołującego torsje, chłopacy chcieli coś osiągnąć i powiem wam jedno, udało się to w 110%. Goregrind jaki tu usłyszymy jest treściwy niczym zjełczała głowa po dekapitacji wyrzucona gdzieś niedbale na tyłach alejki – gnije, pożerana stopniowo przez wijące się w niej robactwo. Ta repulsywna w skutkach muzyka brzydzi, a jednocześnie wprawia w wyśmienity nastrój. Wiadomo, nie wszystkich.
Brzmienie jest bardzo niskie, ciężkie i czasami mam wrażenie jakby partie gitar zostały nagrane na tak niskim strojeniu, że struny niemal wiszą luzem z gitar. Dudniący, wibrujący dźwiękiem bas jest wyśmienity. Chore, absolutnie patologiczne, pełne szlamu riffy przyprawiają o mdłości, a mimo tego człowiek chce słuchać tego więcej i więcej. Wysoki w brzmieniu werbel nadaje jeszcze większej chorobotwórczej masy, a wszystko to toczy nasz słuch jak zaawansowany i nieuleczalny wirus. Bulgoczące, warczące, szemrające w paskudnych tonacjach wokale, są tak kurewsko antyludzkie, że błagam, cholera, o więcej! Prędkości utworów są zróżnicowane, od blastów po zwolnienia. Pewnie dla nikogo nie będzie to odkryciem roku, jak powiem, że słychać tu dużo jedynki Carcass, wybrzmiewają też echa holenderskiego Hymen Holocaust, ale w aranżacjach jest też sporo patologicznej Brazylii – Lymphatic Phlegm czy z młodszych ekip, Carniça. Chociaż wiadomo, każdy usłyszy tu inne podobieństwa.
Nie przedłużając, bo zaraz ten tekst będzie dłuższy niż samo demo, polecam maniakom patologii dźwiękowej zapoznać się ze SLOVGH. ‘Emetic Fluid Transaction’ to solidny konkret wśród zgniłych perełek Goregrind / Death Metalu.

It’s not often that material with a mere 7 minutes can be so crashing and mind-blowing! We are talking about the new addition to Danish Extremely Rotten Productions, namely the duo SLOVGH. An absolute concoction of Goregrind and Death Metal. It is simply hideous. Feel invited to the world of gore.
Six tracks, just over seven minutes of music. As the name of the demo suggests, by transferring the torso-inducing liquid, the guys wanted to achieve something, and let me tell you one thing, they succeeded 110%. The goregrind we’ll hear here is as concise as a rancid head after decapitation dumped somewhere carelessly in the back alley – it rots, gradually being devoured by the vermin writhing in it. This repulsive in its effects music disgusts, and at the same time sets a delicious mood. It’s well known, not to everyone.
The sound is very low, heavy and at times I feel as if the guitar parts were recorded at such a low tuning that the strings almost hang loose from the guitars. The rumbling, vibrating sound of the bass is excellent. The sick, absolutely pathological, slime-laden riffs are nauseating, and yet you want to listen to it more and more. The high-pitched snare drum lends even more morbid weight, and it all rolls off our hearing like an advanced and incurable virus. The bubbling, growling, gurgling vocals, in nasty tones, are so fucking anti-human that I beg, damn it, for more! The speeds of the songs range from blasts to slowdowns. It probably won’t be the discovery of the year for anyone, as I’ll say that you can hear a lot of Carcass’ single here, there are also echoes of Dutch Hymen Holocaust, but there’s also a lot of pathological Brazil in the arrangements – Lymphatic Phlegm or, from younger bands, Carniça. Although it is clear, everyone will hear other similarities here for themselves.
Without further ado, because this text will soon be longer than the demo itself, I recommend that sound pathology maniacs get acquainted with SLOVGH. 'Emetic Fluid Transaction’ is a solid piece of concrete among the rotten gems of Goregrind / Death Metal.
