SCHREIGARM to zespół, który powstał w 2020 roku w Niemczech, a obaj muzycy wchodzący w skład tegoż zespołu są Ukraińcami. Co do samej twórczości, to znajdziemy tu dwa single i album, który ukazał się pod koniec 2023 roku pod skrzydłami Werewolf Promotion. Muzyka, którą tworzy ten duet to atmosferyczny black metal.
Pierwsze dźwięki płynące z głośników potwierdzają doświadczenie i doskonały warsztat muzyków. Na krążku znajdziemy dziewięć utworów o łącznej długości wynoszącej niemal pięćdziesiąt cztery minuty. Jeżeli chodzi o zawartość to pozwolę sobie zacytować kilka zdań ze strony internetowej zespołu: 'Pierwsza studyjna płyta zespołu SCHREIGARM to konceptualna metalowa saga o ciernistej drodze wojownika w czasach przedchrześcijańskich, od narodzin i formacji, przez gorycz pożegnań i pierwszych krwawych bitew, aż po śmierć i odrodzenie…’ Sama muzyka jest tu nacechowana bardzo dobrą dynamiką i doskonale się sprawdza w szybszych tempach. Oczywiście nie brakuje zwolnień w kompozycjach przygotowanych przez zespół. Jednak te wolniejsze momenty praktycznie mnie nie porwały. Owszem niosą wiele emocji, jak melancholia czy choćby tęsknota, to jednak przy szybszych fragmentach potrafiłem się ożywić. Riffy gitar mają sporo ciężkich uderzeń, które od czasu do czasu zgrabnie przeplatają się z gitarami ustawionymi na czystym kanale, co w dość ciekawy sposób kreuje mroczną i melodyjną atmosferę. Podobnie rzecz się ma z wokalem, gdzie dominuje chropowaty, gardłowy i niski, a jednak czysty głos niesie bardzo dużo melodii, co zdecydowanie zapada w pamięci. Usłyszymy tu również klawisze i harfę. Perkusja jest wyraźna i bardzo mi się podoba jej brzmienie. Szybkie przejścia na bębnach też świetnie zapadają w pamięci. Album zdecydowanie przypadnie do gustu maniakom zasłuchanym w atmosferycznym, pogańskim i progresywnym graniu.

SCHREIGARM is a band that was formed in 2020 in Germany, and both of the musicians who participate in the band are Ukrainians. As for the work itself, there are two singles and an album, which was released in late 2023 under the wings of Werewolf Promotion. The music the duo creates is atmospheric black metal.
The first sounds coming from the speakers confirm the experience and excellent skill of the musicians. The album features nine tracks with a total length of almost fifty-four minutes. As for the content, let me quote a few sentences from the band’s website: 'The first studio album of SCHREIGARM is a conceptual metal saga about the thorny path of the warrior in pre-Christian times, from birth and formation, through the bitterness of farewells and the first bloody battles, to death and rebirth…’ The music itself here is characterized by very good dynamics and works well in faster tempos. Of course, there is no shortage of slowdowns in the compositions prepared by the band. However, these slower moments practically did not captivate me. Yes they carry a lot of feelings, such as melancholy or even longing, but I was able to revive myself during the faster passages. The guitar riffs have a lot of heavy hitting, which from time to time neatly intertwine with guitars set on a clean channel, which in a rather interesting way creates a dark and melodic atmosphere. The same is true of the vocals, where rough, throaty and low dominate, yet the clear voice carries a great deal of melody, which is definitely memorable. Keyboards and harp can also be heard here. The drums are clear and I like their sound very much. The quick transitions on the drums are also very memorable. The album will definitely appeal to geeks who listen to atmospheric, pagan and progressive music.
