Drugi album Szweda stojącego za MONDOCANE został wydany, podobnie jak w przypadku debiutu, przez krajową wytwórnię Fallen Temple. Na albumie znajdziemy osiem utworów, a całość stanowi trzydzieści siedem minut Black Metalu. Muzyka jaką wykreował Gorm, ucieka trochę od sztywno ustalonych kanonów stylistyki, pojawia się w niej nieco awangardowego podejścia do tematu. Na dobrą sprawę, nie sięgam za często po takie materiały. Przyznać jednak muszę, że 'Gloria’ to naprawdę dobrze skomponowany materiał. Znajdziemy tu wiele klasycznego grania, opartego na grze akordami i gitarach prowadzących w sekcji tremolo. Często stosowany zabieg, taka stała cecha Black Metalu. Melodie są nieznacznie boleściwe, wprowadzają subtelnie szczyptę wzniosłości, uzupełniając się wzajemnie. Owy smutek miesza się również z ostrym wydźwiękiem riffów. Tak więc mamy agresję, ból i patos – hydra o trzech głowach i ciele z logiem MONDOCANE. Brzmienie jest być może nieco nowoczesne, być może za bardzo selektywne, przez co traci na bezpardonowości. Nie jest aż tak bezpośrednie, chociaż nie musi to być traktowane jako minus. Utwory są jak najbardziej dynamiczne, wciągają słuchacza ofiarując bardzo ciekawy seans dźwiękowy. Przejdźmy zatem do owej nieszablonowości, które są tu jak najbardziej obecne. Zacznijmy od pojawiających się mocno wyeksponowanych sekcji klawiszowych, chórków oraz sampli mogących kojarzyć się z industrialnym odłamem Black Metalu. Na dokładkę dostajemy jeszcze utwór 'Demons’ jako muzyczną interpretację utworu Depeche Mode 'Personal Jesus’. Taka ciekawostka. W skutek tego, proszę sobie zrobić podsumowanie, którego można dokonać kupując ten albumu u wiadomego wydawcy i posłuchać bardzo ciekawego Black Metalu. Muzyki opartej na filarach gatunku, a jednak nieco umykającej poza jego granice.

The second album by the Swede behind MONDOCANE has been released, as with the debut, on the national Fallen Temple label. The album features eight tracks, and the whole album is thirty-seven minutes of Black Metal. The music that Gorm has created escapes a bit from the rigidly established canons of style, there is a bit of an avant-garde approach to the subject. For good measure, I don’t reach for such material too often. Nevertheless, I must admit that 'Gloria’ is really well composed material. We can find a lot of classical playing here, based on chord playing and guitars leading in the tremolo section. A frequently used procedure, such a constant feature of Black Metal. The melodies are slightly sorrowful, subtly introducing a pinch of somberness, complementing each other. This sadness is also mixed with the harsh overtones of the riffs. Thus we have aggression, pain and pathos – a three-headed hyrda with a body bearing the MONDOCANE logo. The sound is perhaps a bit modern, perhaps too selective, which makes it lose its ruthlessness. It’s not as direct, although this needn’t be considered a minus. The tracks are as dynamic as possible, drawing the listener in offering a very interesting sound session. So let’s move on to this unconventionality, which are present here as much as possible. Let’s start with heavily exposed keyboard sections, choirs and samples that could be associated with the industrial branch of Black Metal. To top it off, we also get the track 'Demons’ as a musical interpretation of Depeche Mode’s 'Personal Jesus’. Such a highlight. As a result, take yourself a summary, which you can do by buying this album from a known label and listen to very interesting Black Metal. Music based on the pillars of the genre, and nevertheless somewhat escaping its boundaries.
