Druga EPka brytyjczyków z GRAVE EATER nie przynosi wielkich zmian. Kolejne ultra krótkie wydawnictwo nie przekraczające nawet pięciu minut, ale można rzecz, że dające nieco frajdy słuchaczom Death Metalu. GRAVE EATER powstał na prochach Chapel of Flesh, solowego projektu Greg’a. W obecnym składzie Greg pozbył się gitary stawiając wyłącznie na bas, a szeregi zasiliła Sindy na perkusji. Poniżej kilka słów odnośnie „Rotting Alive”.
Death / Doom Metal jaki prezentuje GRAVE EATER to hołd dla wczesnego Autopsy, tyle że jest to jeszcze bardziej siermiężna muzyka. Nic w tym złego, bo dźwięki jakie wydobywają się z głośników to przyjemny dla każdego zwyrodnialca soundtrack horroru – prymitywny, archaiczny i wydobyty z totalnych otchłani zapomnianych grobowców. Trupy i posoka ścielą się gęsto, ot całość przypomina klimatem nieco filmy Fulciego czy Argento, tyle że mamy tutaj wersję audio. Chory, totalnie pierwotny Death Metal zagrany na dosłownie pojedynczych dźwiękach pustoszy zmysły bardziej skutecznie niż niejeden popis techniczny. Powolne tempo, dudniący bas i growle – to jest takie kurwa piękne! Cholernie dobra, niemal garażowa produkcja podkreśla tylko ten klimat choróbska. Tu nie ma za wiele co się rozpisywać, bo doświadczamy absolutnie pierwotnych instynktów, które zostały uzyskane przy pomocy basu, perkusji i wokali. Totalne ścierwo, absolutny ściek i hordy żywych trupów. Tylko dla maniaków!

The second EP of GRAVE EATER doesn’t bring any great changes. Another ultra-short release not even five minutes long, but you can say that it gives some fun to Death Metal listeners. GRAVE EATER was formed on the ashes of Chapel of Flesh, Greg’s solo project. In the current lineup Greg got rid of the guitar relying solely on bass and Sindy joined the ranks on drums. Here are some words about „Rotting Alive”.
Death/Doom Metal presented by GRAVE EATER is a tribute to early Autopsy, only it’s even more severe music. There’s nothing wrong with that, because the sounds coming out of the speakers are like a horror soundtrack for every degenerate – primitive, archaic and extracted from the total abyss of forgotten tombs. Tons of corpses and blood are strewn thickly about, and the whole thing is a bit reminiscent of Fulci’s or Argento’s films, only here we have the audio version. Sick, totally primal Death Metal played on literally single sounds empties senses more effectively than many technical show-offs. Slow tempo, rumbling bass and growls – it’s so fucking gorgeous! Damn good, almost garage-like production only emphasizes this sickness atmosphere. There’s not much to say here, because we experience absolutely primal instincts, which were achieved with the help of bass, drums and vocals. Total abrasion, absolute sewage and hordes of living corpses. For maniacs only!
