Dzisiaj do odsłuchu poszedł najnowszy materiał BLOOD INCANTATION. O poprzednim wydawnictwie pisaliśmy na naszych łamach, a sam zespół został założony w 2011 roku i od tamtej pory ma w dyskografii dwa albumy i kilka mniejszych wydawnictw. Amerykanie reprezentują kosmiczną odmianę death metalu i ostatnimi wydawnictwami dość mocno zatrzęśli muzycznym podziemiem. Myślę, że nazwa jest znana większości słuchaczy zanurzonych w ekstremalnych, metalowych wyziewach. W skład tego tworu wchodzą muzycy znani z udziału w wielu innych zespołach, pozwolę sobie wymienić kilka z nich: ABYSMAL DIMENSIONS, CHTONIC DEITY, SPECTRAL VOICE i wiele innych. Najnowsza EP zaskoczyła mnie mocno i jestem przekonany, że nie tylko ja byłem zaskoczony muzyką, która znalazła się na 'Timewave Zero’.

Czego mogłem się spodziewać po nowym materiale Amerykanów? Oczywiście mocnego uderzenia w postaci death metalu. To, co mnie zaskoczyło, to właśnie praktyczny brak metalowych brzmień. W zasadzie muzyka z jaką tu obcujemy, to nic innego jak ambient z syntezatorami zamiast gitar. Na czarnym krążku znalazły się dwa utwory, o łącznym czasie trwania wynoszącym ponad czterdzieści minut. Muzyka ta, chociaż pozbawiona brutalności nadal odkrywa kosmiczne rejony z jednej strony prezentując lodowate brzmienia, by z drugiej uderzyć gorącym strumieniem. Trzeba przyznać, że produkcja tego materiału jest na wysokim poziomie, a muzyka w hipnotyzujący sposób potrafi przyciągnąć do siebie, do tego stopnia, że momentami zapominam, że to BLOOD INCANTATION. Oba utwory są instrumentalne i jakikolwiek wokal jest tu po prostu zbędny. 'Timewave Zero’ to muzyka, która mnie zauroczyła i ciekawe czy przypadnie do gustu maniakom death metalowych brzmień. Póki co, u mnie ten krążek kręci się już kolejny raz i na pewno szybko nie odłożę go na półkę, więc polecam zapoznać się z tym materiałem.

Today we have new BLOOD INCANTATION material to listen to. We wrote about the previous release on our pages, and the band itself was founded in 2011 and since then it has two albums and several smaller releases in its discography. Americans represent cosmic variety of death metal and with the last releases they shook the music underground quite strongly. I think the name is familiar to most listeners immersed in extreme metal fumes. The band consists of musicians known from participation in many other bands, let me mention some of them: ABYSMAL DIMENSIONS, CHTONIC DEITY, SPECTRAL VOICE and many others. The newest EP surprised me a lot and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one taken aback by the music that was on 'Timewave Zero’.

What could I expect from the new material of Americans? Of course, a powerful strike in the form of death metal. What surprised me was the practical lack of metal sounds. In fact, the music we’re dealing with here is nothing but ambient with synthesizers instead of guitars. There are two tracks on the black LP, with a total duration of over forty minutes. The music, although devoid of brutality, still explores cosmic regions, presenting icy sounds on one hand, to hit with a hot stream on the other. I must admit that the production of this material is on a high level, and the music in a hypnotic way can attract you to themselves, to the point that sometimes I forget that it is BLOOD INCANTATION. Both tracks are instrumental and any vocals are simply unnecessary here. Timewave Zero’ is the kind of music that enchanted me and I wonder if it will appeal to death metal maniacs. As for now, I’m listening to this album for the next time and for sure I won’t put it on the shelf soon, so I recommend getting familiar with this material.
